RESUMEN
A psicopatologia é tema central na clínica psicológica. Tentativas de definições de normalidade e patologia estão presentes nas teorias e engendram práticas clínicas diferenciadas. O objetivo deste trabalho é discutir psicopatologia na Terapia Centrada no Cliente, através da noção de pessoa em pleno funcionamento, de Carl Rogers. Questionase esta noção, baseado na ética da alteridade radical, de Emmanuel Lévinas, reafirmando o pathos como paixão e reconhecendo a necessidade de a psicoterapia centrada na pessoa escutar o radicalmente Outro. Aponta-se, finalmente, a desconstrução da ideia de pessoa em pleno funcionamento, por esta desconsiderar a diferença do Outro, numa concepção totalizante da subjetividade.(AU)
Psychopathology is the central theme on clinical psychology. Endeavors for statements of normality and pathology are presented in the theories and engender different clinical practices. The aim of this work is to discuss psychopathology on Client Centered Therapy through the notion of person in fully functioning by Carl Rogers. Questions are made, based on the ethics of radical alterity by Emmanuel Lévinas, reaffirming the pathos as passion and recognizing the necessity of the person centered psychotherapy to be open to listen to the radically Other. Finally, the desconstruction of the idea of fully functioning person is pointed, once it disregards the difference of the Other, in a whole conception of subjectivity.(AU)
